How to Make Beef and Peppers

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds beef cubes, from chuck steak, 3/4-inch cubes
8 ounces canned tomatoes
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Dash pepper
1 small onion, sliced

Steps to make it

1 Brown beef cubes in saucepan until well browned. 

2 Break up large pieces of tomatoes.

3 Stir in garlic powder and pepper.

 Pour over beef.

4 Cover and cook over low heat until beef is almost tender-about 1 hour.

5 Add onion and green pepper.

6 Cover and continue cooking until vegetables and beef are tender—about 30 minutes.

7 Serve with cooked rice, if desired.

8 Serves.
